White House no longer like ‘The Hunger Games’ thanks to John Kelly: Report

There is no longer a “Hunger Games” working environment in the White House thanks to new chief of staff John Kelly, according to a report.

“It’s known those days are over,” a former Trump administration official told Bloomberg after describing a cut-throat workplace environment, where aides were constantly leaking information to the press, as similar to the blockbuster book and movie franchise, The Hunger Games. “Everyone, including staff, knows it’s a new day of structure and knows not to mess with Kelly,” the former official said.

The interview indicated Kelly has reportedly introduced restrictions on President Trump’s information flow.

Only family members can visit Trump in the Oval Office without approval, per the New York Times. Additionally, if first daughter Ivanka Trump is seeking to speak with her father in a personal capacity rather than as a White House adviser, she too can be an exception to the rule.
