Vice President Joe Biden will be eating lunch with President Barack Obama today at the White House. One wonders whether the 2016 presidential election might be a topic of conversation.
“In the afternoon, the Vice President will have lunch with the President in the Private Dining Room,” Biden’s schedule reads.
The rest of Biden’s day will be devoted to Walter Mondale, the former vice president.
“At 5:00 PM, the Vice President will host a reception for Vice President Mondale. This reception at the Naval Observatory is closed press,” the vice president’s schedule reads.
“At 7:45 PM, the Vice President will deliver remarks at a gala in honor of Vice President Mondale. These remarks at the Four Seasons Hotel are open press.”
