Anne Arundel has mapped out ramps for car-top boats along the county’s waterways in response to numerous requests from canoers and kayakers.
“On a regular basis, we were getting calls about where people could launch their kayaks and canoes,” said Frank Marzucco, director of recreations and parks.
“This guide is one part of our efforts to help promote our maritime facilities.”
The county’s Web site — aacounty.org/recpark — has an interactive map with locations of car-top boat ramps and fishing spots.
Each location gives addresses, coordinates and the availability of public facilities such as restrooms.
The map also features three future launch sites at Homeport Farm, Beachwood Park and Weinberg Park.
