The Washington Wizards will mark the 30th anniversary of the franchise’s historic trip to China by making a return trip from September 5-15. Hall of Fame center Wes Unseld, the team’s star player when they were the Bullets and famously went overseas in 1979, will be joined on next month’s journey by current players Caron Butler and Randy Foye. Former Washington center Gheorghe Muresan also will be in the traveling party. The delegation will visit Beijing, Shanghai and parts of the Sichuan province, which was devastated by last year’s massive earthquake.
