Scoop: Brad wants marriage now, insider dishes

After years of raising a family unmarried, has Brad Pitt issued Angelina Jolie a now-or-never ultimatum?

“Brad’s told her, ‘Marry me, or it’s over,’” declares a source, adding that “he definitely wants to get married before they have any more babies.” (How traditional!)

“Their relationship is so out of kilter, he believes marriage is the only thing that will bring it back around,” the insider explains. “He needs to know Angie is really committed to him. Becoming Mrs. Pitt would give him that answer.”

A source predicts the wedding will be held in New Orleans and Angie will don a “romantic, simple dress” like the one her mom wore to marry Jon Voight. (Since that marriage worked out so well.)

So … he’s just issued an ultimatum, but she’s already picked out a dress? That makes sense.

Britney: Daddy Drama

Britney Spears is living in fear of someone … but is it her ex-manager Sam Lutfi or her own father, Jamie Spears? This mystery is playing out in court, as Sam’s sister testified Wednesday that Britney is plotting to escape the clutches of her father’s conservatorship.

Christina Lutfi said that at Britney’s own bequest, she snuck the pop icon a cell phone so she could “get a hold of Sam,” adding that the “Womanizer” singer “wanted him to help her find a lawyer, and wanted someone to get a prepaid cell phone to her. She was scared because her father was blackmailing her with visitation rights over her kids.”

Britney’s own lawyer, however, countered that the star “was in such fear [of Sam], she asked if I could get him arrested, to keep him away from her.” The court case will determine whether a restraining order against Sam is extended.

Regardless of her current mental state, we’d certainly like to see Britney speak for herself about whether she considers Sam — or her father — friend or foe.

Miley in Love

After hedging that they were just good friends, Miley Cyrus, 16, is ready to tell the world: I’m dating a 20-year-old guy. Deal with it.

“The best thing that’s happened to me in a long, long time has been meeting [model] Justin [Gaston], because he’s the most respectful and selfless person I’ve ever known,” the tween icon gushes to Glamour magazine.

Of the relationship, she says, “I don’t feel like I’m doing anything wrong, and I’m ready for people to accept it. My fans already accept it — they just want me to be happy. And I haven’t been that happy in a few years … working so hard, moving to L.A. from Nashville, going through a bad breakup [with Nick Jonas]. I’m finally happy again, and I think that is reflected in my music and my work.

“So honestly, I don’t feel like there’s anything to hide,” Miley concludes. “And I love him so much I don’t really care.” So there,

haters!

Music Therapy

Is John Mayer using music to vent about his breakup with Jennifer Aniston? After their first split, he blabbed to the paps — but this time around, he’s expressing his angst in song. While performing on his Mayercraft Carrier cruise ship (yes, you read that right), the singer-songwriter debuted a new track that seems to point barbs at his actress ex.

The tune is called “Heartbreak Warfare,” and includes lyrics like “If you want more love, why don’t you say so?” and “Drop his name, push it in and twist the knife again.” (That name wouldn’t happen to be Brad, would it?)

“The concept of the album [I’m working on] is the war of love — the art of war of love,” the musician explained to the audience, perhaps tellingly.

“I am a positivity man,” John added. “Sometimes people try to recognize love in terms of negativity. When you are in that situation, that is not a lot of fun.”

Whether or not the song and comments are actually about Jen, John had to know that’s how people would interpret them. Tacky!
