A California teacher told students in a conservative club to “jump off a bridge” after the students waved a “F*** Biden” flag during a Veterans Day event.
Kristin Usilton, a teacher at Bauer Speck Elementary School, posted a video to her Instagram account, which has since been deleted, criticizing a Paso Robles High School Conservative Club demonstration at a Veterans Day event, according to the Paso Robles Press.
“The Paso Robles Conservative Club for the high school, you can go jump off a bridge,” Usilton said in the video. “I’m going to post what they thought was a great show of support for the veterans, who I’m pretty sure would be absolutely offended by what they did on school campus.”
‘OFFENSIVE’ ANTI-BIDEN FLAG HAS SOME THROUGHOUT RUST BELT CALLING FOR ITS REMOVAL
Students from the high school’s conservative club waved a variety of flags during an event on Nov. 10 meant to celebrate U.S. veterans, according to the Tribune. Besides the “F*** Biden” flag, the club had an American flag, a “Trump 2020” flag, and a Gadsden flag.
“Had the LGBTQ population done that or the black or Hispanic community members, we would have had our ass chewed out,” Usilton said. “Look at what they did today.”
Usilton proceeded to show footage of the students waving the American and military flags, alongside the “F*** Biden” flag.
“When I said, ‘Go jump off a bridge,’ I just meant go away, and I will not use that term again because of the incredible influx of messages I got about that,” Usilton stated in another video. “But if that’s what you focused on in that message, you’re kind of part of the problem.”

Curt Dubost, the superintendent for Paso Robles Joint Unified School District, released a statement on Nov. 17 addressing both Usilton and the student who had waved the Biden flag.
“Last Wednesday, a student effort to honor Veterans Day was disrupted by a very poor choice to include a profane flag,” Dubost said, continuing to criticize Usilton, labeling her actions as “inappropriate.”
The Washington Examiner reached out to the Paso Robles Conservative Club and Bauer Speck Elementary for a statement but did not receive a response.
