Prince George’s County firefighters rescued a woman from the balcony of a burning building Saturday night in Adelphi.
Firefighters responded to reports of flames coming from a three-story apartment building on 9010 Riggs Road around 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Rescue units searched the building for occupants. A woman was found on the balcony of a unit above the apartment on fire. Firefighters helped her evacuate.
The fire is under investigation. It is unknown if anyone was injured or how many individuals were displaced by the fire.
