Watch: Trump, Carson dance as singer croons ‘Donald, stand by me’

Donald, Donald, stand by me,” Beau Davidson sang Sunday night at the Lincoln Day Dinner at the Mar-A-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Fla., with GOP front-runner Donald Trump by his side.

The two-time Emmy nominated singer sang a slightly altered rendition of “Stand By Me,” repeatedly inserting Trump’s name into the lyrics.

Davidson even took a jab at Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

“It don’t matter where we go. It don’t matter what Hillary does, as long as we’re with you,” Davidson sang, gesturing to Trump.

Ben Carson was also standing there next to Trump and Davidson, and even got in on a little dancing and clapping when prompted by Davidson.

Davidson told FOX411 he was invited to perform Sunday by the Republican Party of Palm Beach County.

“Mr. Trump had a huge smile on his face. He grooved to the beat and even joined the chorus once he heard his name in the lyric,” Davidson said after the performance. “Dr. Carson enjoyed the performance, smiled, and clapped along. His wife Candy told me she is a violinist and that she was singing harmony during some of my performance.”
