MICA debuts new school logo, merchandise

Maryland Institute College of Art unveiled a new institutional logo at its April 1 Admission Open House, designating it “logo day.” The college debuted a collection of branded merchandise, as well as new letterhead and campus signage. MICA faculty member Abbott Miller, who?s also a partner in the international design firm Pentagram Baltimore, created the design.

Student-conducted research, faculty input and a logo branding committee all contributed ideas to the process of creating the logo.
