Stormy Daniels’ husband files for divorce

Stormy Daniels’ husband has filed for divorce and is asking for a temporary restraining order against the porn star, who alleges she had an affair with President Trump in the early days of his third marriage.

Glendon Crain, who is also in the porn industry, filed for divorce from Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, on July 18 in Kaufman County, Texas.

The two have been married since 2015 and have a young daughter. They got married several years after her alleged affair with Trump.

Daniels’ lawyer, Michael Avenatti, announced the divorce filing Monday on Twitter, but disputed claims made in the court documents. Avenatti did not clarify in the tweet what claims he was referring to.

“My client Stormy Daniels and her husband Glen have decided to end their marriage,” the tweet said. “A petition for divorce was filed last week, the accuracy of which is vehemently disputed. Stormy’s daughter remains her number one priority. She kindly asks for privacy for the sake of her family.”

A hearing regarding the restraining order is scheduled for July 27, according to court documents.
