Ramsey Touchberry
Ramsey Touchberry is a congressional reporter for the Washington Examiner, where he primarily focuses on the Senate. Ramsey has covered national politics since 2018 and is a former congressional reporter for Newsweek and the Washington Times. His reporting in Washington has included coverage of two presidential impeachments, the pandemic, the 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol, and government shutdowns, as well as regular interviews with the country’s top lawmakers and candidates.
Before relocating to the nation’s capital, Ramsey’s local investigative reporting in Florida on the state’s prison system, hurricane seasons, and county animal shelters won two regional Murrow awards and a regional AP award.
