Hope Hicks and Ronna McDaniel complete isolation, return to campaign trail with president

Hope Hicks and Ronna McDaniel are back on the campaign trail.

Hicks, a senior adviser to the president, and McDaniel, the chairwoman of the Republican National Committee, were spotted traveling with President Trump on his way to a rally in Greenville, North Carolina.

On Oct. 1, word spread that Hicks had tested positive for COVID-19. That night, the president tweeted well-wishes to Hicks and informed the public that he had begun to quarantine. Early on the morning of Oct. 2, the White House released a memo stating that both the president and first lady had subsequently tested positive, as well. News of McDaniel’s positive test result also came on Friday.

The president has been back on the campaign trail since Monday, holding his first post-diagnosis rally in Sanford, Florida.
