Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, appeared for the first time with their newborn son at Windsor Castle on Wednesday.
“It’s magic. It’s pretty amazing,” the Duchess of Sussex, 37, told reporters at Windsor Castle. “I have the two best guys in the world, so I’m really happy.”
“He has the sweetest temperament. He’s really calm,” she added.
Prince Harry, 34, said that the couple are still “trying to figure” out whether their son resembles one parent or another, but quipped that his son is “growing a little bit of facial hair as well, wonderful.”
“Everyone says that babies change so much in two weeks — we’re basically monitoring how the changing process happens over this next month really,” Prince Harry said. “His looks are changing every single day, so who knows.”

Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex, who live at Frogmore Cottage near Windsor Castle, will meet with Queen Elizabeth II later Wednesday and will discuss a name for their newborn son at that point.
The couple departed from the tradition set by Princess Diana and Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, by not posing in front of photographers after the birth. The Duchess of Cambridge was photographed outside St. Mary’s Hospital in London after she delivered Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Princess Diana did the same after giving birth to Prince William and Prince Harry.
Prince William sent his best wishes to his brother on Tuesday, and joked that he was pleased to “welcome my own brother into the sleep deprivation society that is parenting.”
