The former CEO of Papa John’s has not lost his taste for the company’s products, reporting he has sampled 800 pizzas in the last 18 months.

John Schnatter, the founder and former CEO of Papa John’s Pizza, said in a recent interview he has eaten a lot of his old products to see if the quality has held up in his absence. Schnatter told Bloomberg he’s consumed almost 800 Papa John’s pizzas in the last 18 months — an average of 1 1/2 pizzas a day.
