President Joe Biden‘s campaign has updated its Federal Election Commission paperwork under the name “Harris for President” after the president dropped out of the race and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for the Democratic Party’s nomination.
The campaign had previously filed as “Biden for President,” but has now moved the mantle to Harris as the president elevates his vice president to be the nominee.

Harris has the backing of several key Democrats, including Biden, Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC), and both Bill and Hillary Clinton, but several other Democrats have not endorsed her – including former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and former President Barack Obama.
