The inaugural parade paid tribute to Corey Comperatore, the Pennsylvania resident who was killed during the July 2024 assassination attempt against Trump.

“The heroes of Butler County are here,” the announcer said to rapturous applause.

The formation consisted of Pennsylvania State Police, paramedics, and others who responded to the attempt on Trump’s life.

“They are here to pay homage to the life, selfless community service, and sacrifice of Corey Comperatore,” the announcer said.

A moment of silence was held for Comperatore, with Trump and Vance seen bowing their heads.
