Missouri House Minority Leader Crystal Quade won the Democratic nomination for governor Tuesday after defeating four other opponents, including businessman Mike Hamra.

The Associated Press called the race for Quade at 10:41 p.m. Eastern. With roughly 79% of the vote counted, Quade led with about 50% trailed by Hamra at just under 32%.

Quade will go on to face the winner of a crowded GOP primary in the general election that includes three Trump-endorsed candidates: Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft, state Sen. Bill Eigel and Lt. Gov. Mike Kehoe. That race has yet to be called.

Gov. Mike Parson (R-MO) is term-limited and therefore unable to seek reelection.
