The Democratic National Committee launched a billboard campaign in Miami ahead of Trump’s Wednesday Univision town hall with undecided Latino voters that lambasted the former president’s proposals as “dangerous” for Latino families.
“Latinos deserve better than what Donald Trump has to offer: higher taxes, increased costs for the middle class, a gutted health care system, and the stripping of our fundamental freedoms,” DNC Director of Hispanic Media Marco Frieri said in a statement. “His dangerous and extremist policies will be front and center as Floridians and Latinos across the country tune into tonight’s Univision’s town hall. Democrats are making sure Trump cannot hide from how his policies would negatively affect Latinos.”
The three billboards will target majority Latino areas across Miami in Spanish and English and will seek to connect Trump to Project 2025‘s conservative proposals, which the former president has distanced himself from.
