Republican internal polling showed most of its candidates trailing their Democratic opponents in battleground states.

October polling from the Senate Leadership Fund super PAC, obtained by Politico, found that all but one Republican candidate in battleground states were polling behind Trump, partially due to a large fundraising advantage for Democrats.

Seat flip opportunities in Maryland and Michigan were found to be slipping away, while Sen. Sherrod Brown’s (D-OH) seat remained daunting. Texas and Nebraska were found to be vulnerable.

It was not all news was bad, though, with races in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania improving.

“We still have a lot of work to do to maximize our gains in this critical Senate election,” SLF President Steven Law wrote in the memo. “We need to add media markets and expand into the final week in all our target states. We also have to guard our flanks.”
