Harris ended her “closing argument” at the Ellipse urging voters to reach for the future and “turn the page” on Trump, a common theme in her campaign speeches with one week until the 2024 election.
She said the United States is the “greatest idea humanity ever devised” where people can be “fearless enough to imagine a future of possibilities.”
“So America, let us reach for that future,” Harris said. “Let us fight for this beautiful country we love, and in seven days, we have the power. Each of you has the power to turn the page and start writing the next chapter in the most extraordinary story ever told.”
