Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, who was passed up by Vice President Kamala Harris for her running mate position, used his time on the Democratic National Convention to blast former President Donald Trump to wide acclaim from the Democrats in the audience.
He was greeted with a standing ovation while walking out, and again when leaving the stage.
“Kamala Harris, while she has spent her entire career making progress, Donald Trump, a man with no guardrails, wants to take away our rights and our freedoms and listen while he cloaks himself in the blanket of freedom,” Shapiro said to an energetic crowd.
