Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN) gave an emotional speech during the third night of the Democratic National Convention, and the people most affected appeared to be his children.
Gus and Hope Walz were seen crying as their father spoke about his past, specifically his time with his wife, Gwen, trying to conceive a child. He said he named his daughter “Hope” because of their perseverance.
At one point, Gus started bawling and stood up, pointing and saying, “That’s my dad.”
