Time magazine owner Marc Benioff has put pressure on Vice President Kamala Harris for declining an interview with the magazine despite President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump sitting for talks.
After Benioff accused Harris of not “engaging with the public on the same level” as other presidential candidates on Sunday, he posted a photo quote on Monday aimed at nudging her further after she already declined to interview.
The social media post reads, “Harris declined repeated requests for an interview for this story. In contrast, Trump talked about his policy vision with a TIME reporter for 90 minutes across two interviews. Biden spoke to TIME at similar length before dropping out of the race.”
He then reposted the quote on Monday in a graphic mimicking the magazine’s cover.
