Former President Donald Trump announced to his supporters in Traverse City, Michigan, that he was going to be delayed for hours.

“We’ll do an extra special job when we get there,” Trump promised in a video he sent into the rally explaining why he was running behind. Trump had been recording a podcast with Joe Rogan in Texas.

The rally was scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. Eastern, but Trump said he would fly in around 10 p.m.

Some supporters could be seen leaving the rally after the announcement.
