Trump in a speech following his inauguration said his administration will freeze hiring of IRS agents via executive order.
“I’ll also issue a temporary hiring freeze to ensure that we’re only hiring competent people who are faithful to the American public, and we will pause the hiring of any new IRS agents,” Trump announced.
He also announced a return to work order for federal employees.
Trump is expected to sign dozens of executive orders tonight.
