Sen. J.D. Vance’s (R-OH) plane needed to make an emergency landing just 16 minutes after taking off from Milwaukee because a door seal had malfunctioned. The plane then took off again and resumed its journey.

“After declaring an emergency, Trump Force Two returned to Milwaukee,” a Vance spokesperson told CNN Friday. “As soon as the issue was resolved, the plane returned to its originally planned flight path back to Cincinnati.”

The plane is called Trump Force Two, a Boeing 737-800. Vance is the running mate of former President Donald Trump, whose own plane, Trump Force One, had to divert to another airport in Montana last week before his rally in the state. The change was due to a “mechanical issue,” and Trump took a private jet to his rally.
