All eyes are on President Joe Biden this week for the NATO summit, as he declines calls from within his own party to drop out of the presidential race.

Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur said during a Politico Live and WELT event on Tuesday that, “We’ll see about today and tomorrow in the room,” when he was asked about the questions around Biden’s reelection bid. “But once again, I really do believe that we should not speculate what happens.”

He said the American people would choose whom the next president would be, and European leaders would come to the White House and Pentagon for continued relations regardless of who’s the president.

Pevkur added, “We cannot be afraid of elections.”
