President Joe Biden and his Hollywood counterpart actor Martin Sheen, who played the fictional President Josiah Bartlet in the popular TV series The West Wing, were seen together at the White House Thursday.

Biden and Sheen briefly talked on the South Lawn before Biden departed to Maryland for a speech on reducing prescription drug costs.

Sheen was joined by his former co-stars Mary McCormack and Melissa Fitzgerald. It is unclear why the three actors were at the White House. McCormack and Fitzgerald previously wrote a book together titled, What’s Next: A Backstage Pass to ‘The West Wing,’ its Cast and Crew, and its Enduring Legacy of Service, which focuses on the inner workings of the TV series.

Sheen also told Fox Business he would spend time with Vice President Kamala Harris on the campaign trail this election. Last month, McCormack said Harris has her full support in the 2024 presidential race.
