THE MOVIE LIST

Those who enjoyed the March and Louis Farrakhan’s role in it so very much can always keep that special feeling alive through the pleasures of video rentals. Some recommendations:

Triumph of the Will, Leni Riefenstahl’s account of another mass gathering — in Nuremberg, 1934, with happy Nazis cavorting to the strains of Adolf Hitler’s soothing baritone.

Elmer Gantry, featuring Burr Lancaster’s brilliant portrait of a pulpit- hogging charlatan.

All the King’s Men, The Oscar-winning movie version of Robert Penn Warren’s novel about Huey Long, with a spellbinding Broderick Crawforcl as the most dangerous demagogue in American history.
