‘Good witches love Trump’: Trump supporters throw ‘Witch Hunt’ Halloween party

Supporters of President Trump held a “White Hunt” Halloween party in Pennsylvania on the eve of Halloween and the day before the House votes on an impeachment resolution.

Trump supporters Joyce Bollini and Cynthia Lane attended the Wednesday event with witch hats and shirts that said, “Good witches love Trump.”

“I think it’s been a witch hunt. The whole Russia collusion and anything before it and anything after it,” Lane told Bloomberg. “It’s the swamp versus him. It’s the elite, the deep state.”

“That’s why I wore this,” the 70-year-old Bollini said. “He’s a man that promises something and does it. I’m just unhappy with some of the hardship and blocking that he’s faced.”

The event was hosted by Matt and Mercedes Schlapp along with YouTube stars and Trump supporters, Diamond and Silk. Matt Schlapp is the head of the American Conservative Union, and Mercedes Schlapp has worked in the White House under Trump.

House Democrats are holding a vote Thursday to move forward with the impeachment process, which is about to begin a phase with public hearings.

Democrats started the impeachment process last month after alleging that Trump withheld military aid from Ukraine until they agreed to investigate Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden.
