The Boston Celtics center is an 11-year veteran of the NBA and has sparked controversy this season as the league’s most vocal critic of China’s communist government and its leader, Xi Jinping.

Kanter Freedom has also called out LeBron James, Jeremy Lin, Michael Jordan, Golden State Warriors investor Chamath Palihapitiya, Nike, and his home country of Turkey and its government, according to a report.
