A U.S. Navy helicopter carrying three crew members crashed in the Pacific Ocean near Guam on Wednesday, according to a Navy statement issued late Tuesday Washington time.
The two pilots and one aircrewman aboard the MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter were pulled to safety by USS Dewey. No one was injured in the crash.
The helicopter is currently embarked aboard Dewey, which was deployed from San Diego to the Western Pacific on March 31.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
