Like her husband, first lady Jill Biden has retested positive for COVID-19, according to the White House.
She tested negative Tuesday before returning a positive antigen test on Wednesday, another instance of a “rebound” infection, the first lady’s Deputy Communications Director Kelsey Donohue told reporters.

President Joe Biden tested negative on Wednesday, the White House confirmed, after he was spotted returning to the residence from Marine One on the South Lawn with a mask hanging around his ear. The first couple had spent the weekend in Delaware. He was deemed a close contact.
“Consistent with CDC guidance because he is a close contact of the first lady, he will mask for 10 days when indoors and in close proximity to others,” a White House official said. “We will also keep the president’s testing cadence increased and continue to report those results.”
