Indiana Gov. Mike Pence used a line from former President Ronald Reagan to slam Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine during Tuesday’s vice presidential debate.
After Kaine said Democrats were going to fight back against privatizing Social Security and look for ways to make it solvent in the future, Pence used a famous line from Reagan to rip his position.
“There they go again,” he said, calling back to Reagan’s response to then-President Jimmy Carter in their presidential debate in 1980.
