Donald Trump: I’m voting for myself

Donald Trump announced he will vote for himself on Election Day as the polls opened across the country Tuesday morning.

“Well, I really worked on this hard, but I have made that final decision. I’ve decided to vote for Trump,” said the Republican presidential nominee on Fox News Tuesday.

Trump said he believes that voters will send him to the White House, including those in battleground states like Michigan that haven’t been red in years.

“We’re going to win a lot of states. Who knows what happens ultimately, but we’re going to win,” he said.

Trump affirmed he still believes campaigning for the presidency is a “tremendous waste of time, energy and money” if he doesn’t win.

“I will not consider it great if I don’t win.”

Trump said he thinks that the polls suggesting that the Democrats are going to have an advantage are intentionally fabricated, blaming a dishonest media for promoting the numbers.

“I think a lot of polls are purposely wrong. The media is extremely dishonest and I think a lot of polls are phony,” Trump said. “I don’t even think they interview people. I think they put out phony numbers.”

When asked whether he has any regrets after a campaign filled with controversies, Trump said, “Sure, there are things I would have done differently, but you know, you have to go forward. You do want to learn, but there’s nothing you can do.”

The Republican presidential nominee’s last words were a plea encouraging citizens to go to the polls.

“We have a great, great country. We have tremendous potential. Definitely go out and vote.”
