GOP congressman calls for war against ‘Islamic horror’: ‘Kill them all’

Republican Rep. Clay Higgins called for “all of Christendom” to hunt and kill every “radicalized Islamic suspect” in a Facebook post Sunday.

“The free world … all of Christendom … is at war with Islamic horror. Not a single radicalized Islamic suspect should be granted any measure of quarter. Their intended entry to the American homeland should be summarily denied,” the Louisiana lawmaker wrote. “Every conceivable measure should be engaged to hunt them down. Hunt them, identity them, and kill them. Kill them all. For the sake of all that is good and righteous. Kill them all.”

The message was posted a day after terrorists killed seven people and injured dozens more in an attack on London Bridge. The Islamic State took credit for the attack.

Higgins gave a floor speech in the House in January praising Trump’s executive order that restricted travel to the U.S. from several Muslim-majority countries.

“The irresponsible rhetoric coming from my colleagues across the aisle and the liberal media, regarding President Trump’s executive order to strengthen America’s immigration policy, is harmful to our country and is placing law enforcement professionals at risk due to incited protests,” he said. “President Trump’s executive order has simply restored sanity to America’s immigration policy.”
