Right-wing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones compared Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., to a rabid dog on Friday after she said she resents President Trump and his “Make America Great Again” slogan.
“Maxine Waters is a mad dog. She is like Cujo. She has cultural, political, spiritual rabies,” Jones said during his daily podcast, “Infowars,” on Friday.
Jones then likened Waters to 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, accusing the two of suffering from delusions of grandeur.
“I don’t know which dog bit the other dog, but Hillary’s got the same disease: megalomania,” Jones said. “Everything in their wake is death and destruction.”
Waters is a vocal critic of Trump and has repeatedly called for his impeachment.
Jones has used his media platform to insult the congresswoman and give a voice to her GOP opponents.
Later on in the program Friday, Jones mocked Waters for advocating for women and people of color.
“I am a woman, you have wronged me, I have resentment for all of you. I have chips on my shoulder and I’m black and you’ve done something to me,” Jones said, speaking as if he were Waters.
