Cenk Uygur, the co-founder of The Young Turks, claimed Joe Biden is suffering from dementia.
Uygur, who ran unsuccessfully for California’s 25th Congressional District to fill the seat vacated by former Rep. Katie Hill, made the claim in addition to arguing the former vice president would lose in the general election against President Trump on social media Friday afternoon.
“Joe Biden will DEFINITELY lose to Trump,” he tweeted. “He appears to have some sort of dementia! The monsters on TV are covering this up and then will turn around and talk about it on a loop during the general election. Guaranteed. We’re walking right off the cliff! #Dementia should trend now!”

The Young Turks co-founder, who has endorsed Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont for president, tweeted that message with a compilation video of Biden’s frequent blunders. The video included Biden appearing momentarily to forget the words of the Declaration of Independence and him saying he was running for the Senate.
Uygur addressed Biden’s triumphant Super Tuesday performance, and by extension, Sanders’s disappointing night, on his YouTube show.
“God damn it, tell the truth, god damn it, tell the truth,” he shouted. “You wanna go to war, we’ll go to war. And that is what this is. We cannot let Biden win.”
