An elderly woman in Florida was eaten alive by two alligators in a pond near her home.
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office says the woman, whose identity has not been announced, fell into a pond at the Boca Royale Golf and Country Club in Englewood, Florida, on Friday night, according to a report.

The woman began flailing in the water, which caught the attention of the gators. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The alligators have been removed from the pond by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission as the investigation continues.

This is not the first alligator attack in recent weeks. In late May, Sean Thomas McGuinness, 47, was found dismembered in a lake at John S. Taylor Park in Largo, Florida.
According to a report, he went into the lake to fetch a Frisbee when he was attacked by two alligators.
