Watch-maker Timex bought a New York City billboard for its latest ad campaign, which includes a snarky jab at Apple.
The ad includes a simple white background featuring the company’s newest $140 watch, a product of collaboration with the Brooklyn-based clothing company Adsum.
“Know the time without seeing you have 1,249 unanswered emails,” the billboard read.

Timex’s watch is already sold out, yet the billboard remains as a slight to Apple’s smart watch, which includes email, text, and call functionality. Its watch has been on the market since 2015, with its latest model, the Series 7, selling for $399.
