Rep. Sean Duffy, R-Wis., praised President-elect Trump on Wednesday for using Twitter to reach the public with his message, but recommended developing guidelines to keep him on message and tweeting at appropriate times in the day.

Duffy, a Trump surrogate, told CNN host Wolf Blitzer that the Republican crossed a line during the campaign with his 3 a.m. messages and ought to kill that tendency before he moves into the White House.
