Modular space business sees revenue dip

Williams Scotsman International Inc., a modular space solutions company, announced that for the first quarter of 2007, it experienced a $3.1 million decrease in total revenue compared to the same time last year.

For the quarter, Scotsman reported total revenue of $161.9 million.

The company said that its revenue in the first quarter of 2006 was boosted by a single military sale and “unusually high” business activity in hurricane-affected parts of the country. These contributed $23.7 million in revenue during the period.
