Parade of pro-Trump boaters seen on New York City’s Hudson River on 9/11 anniversary

A small parade of boats with flags showing support for President Trump could be seen floating down the Hudson River in New York City on Friday.

“Trump Boat Parade has found its way to the Hudson River #NYC – on #911anniversary,” Spectrum News NY1 reporter Roger Clark tweeted Friday.

Trump-supporting boaters all across the country have been organizing parades in various waterways, including last week in New Jersey, where thousands of boats joined in a parade showing solidarity with both the president and law enforcement.

“The purpose was to send a message to law enforcement and the military to show the boys in blue we’re here and we support you,” the parade’s organizer, Chris Molla, said. “And the president supports them, so it goes hand in hand.”

Over Labor Day weekend, a pro-Trump parade, dubbed the “Ultimate Trump Boat Floatilla,” was attended by Donald Trump Jr. and Kimberly Guilfoyle.

“Incredible Trump boat parade today in Florida,” the president’s oldest son tweeted. “The pictures just don’t do it justice, it was miles and miles of boats and incredible American patriots supporting their president @realdonaldtrump and our country. Literally a few thousand I’ve never seen anything like it. Makes me all the more proud to be an American.”

An estimated 1,200 boats took part in a parade supporting the president in Florida in May.

“Thank you very much to our beautiful ‘boaters.’ I will never let you down!” Trump tweeted in response to the gathering.
