READ: Fiona Hill’s opening statement on Day Five of impeachment hearings

Fiona Hill, President Trump’s former top Russia adviser on the National Security Council, is testifying Thursday before Congress.

In her opening statement, the 54-year-old Hill pushed back on allegations that Ukraine, and not Russia, interfered in the 2016 presidential election. Hill left her job right before the July 25 phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that led to a whistleblower complaint and the ongoing impeachment hearings.
