Consulting firm reports increase in revenue

GP Strategies Corporation, an Elkridge-based training, learning and consulting company, reported an increase in revenue of $1.1 million for the fourth quarter of 2006.

GP generated a total revenue of $45.4 million for the fourth quarter.

This number helped the company report a yearlong jump in revenue of $3.2 million, up to $178.8 million, compared with 2005 figures.

“GP Strategies? operating income of $3.5 million for the fourth quarter of 2006 was the company?s strongest operating performance in recent history,” Scott Greenberg, chief executive officer of GP Strategies, said in a statement.
