Bruce Willis’s former island retreat on sale for $37.5 million

Anyone with $37.5 million to spare ought to consider a new listing of Hollywood star Bruce Willis’s former beach retreat.

The private beach home located on Turks and Caicos’s Parrot Cay island, southeast of Florida and the Bahamas, has 7.37 acres of property, with one main house and two independent villas on the estate. The listing on Sotheby’s states that all three buildings combined include 12 bedrooms, 14 bathrooms, and one partial bathroom.

The retreat boasts a fitness center, a tennis court, a home theater, an outdoor pool, and a recreational area. The compound also offers over 1,100 feet of “impeccable” beach property, according to its listing.

Willis bought the land in 2000 and completed building the beach property in 2004. It was there that Willis hosted his wedding — to his second wife, Emma Heming-Willis — in 2009, the New York Post reported. The couple also renewed their vows at the location 10 years later in 2019.

“For the past 20 years, we’ve made so many beautiful memories on the island,” the couple told Architectural Digest in a 2019 statement. “We fell in love and married there, enjoyed two babymoons on the Cay, and it was on our beach that we renewed our vows.”

Mark and Robyn Jones, founders of Goosehead Insurance, purchased the property in 2019 for $27 million, according to the Wall Street Journal. The original asking price was $33 million.
