Pence slips while boarding Air Force Two

Vice President Mike Pence is just fine after reporters saw him fall down while boarding Air Force Two on Tuesday.

Pence was on his way to Waukesha, Wisconsin, to take part in a school choice roundtable when he tripped and fell as he reached the top of a portable staircase leading to Air Force Two. Pence stood up and signaled a thumbs-up to the onlooking media and observers.

Before departing to meet with Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos, Pence tweeted that “no family should be denied the ability to choose their child’s school because of their zip code or income.”

In 2018, Pence had to help Belinda Culberson, wife of then-Rep. John Culberson, when she fell while walking down the portable staircase.
