Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich’s superyacht Solaris, which has been sailing without a destination for more than a week, updated its status from “awaiting orders” to “scenic cruising” on Monday.
The move suggests the $600 million vessel, which is off the southwestern coast of Turkey, has no plans to dock anytime soon.
The 460-foot yacht headed for the safety of international waters last week after fleeing Montenegro waters, following a warning from the Balkan nation that it would mirror sanctions the European Union placed on Russia, President Vladimir Putin, and any oligarchs tied to him.
Abramovich is among a growing list of Russian tycoons targeted in an effort to isolate Putin over his unprovoked invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24. The United Kingdom claimed that Evraz, the steel giant Abramovich owns, supplied materials to Putin for his tanks.

The billionaire Chelsea soccer team owner, who also holds citizenship in Israel and Portugal, has denied having close ties to Putin. A BBC documentary rebutted the claim, accusing him of being “Putin’s money man” and extorting billions off the backs of taxpayers.
Several European countries, including France and Italy, have already seized the luxury assets owned by oligarchs including yachts and private jets.
Abromovich, who has a net worth of $13.6 billion, was sanctioned by the U.K. and the EU. His assets have been frozen, and he’s barred from doing business there.

Solaris had been docked in a Barcelona shipyard but was moved on March 8, shortly before sanctions were announced.
His other superyacht, the Eclipse, was lingering off the coast of Crete, a Greek island in the Mediterranean Sea. It left St. Martin on Feb. 21. The Caribbean island is a part of the EU and would have been able to seize the multimillion-dollar luxury vessel.
