D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray is spending the day in New York, his office said.
Gray began his Wednesday with a 90-minute meeting with the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade, the first event on a packed schedule. Gray will also meet with the Risk and Insurance Management Society and the International Trademark Association. He’ll also speak at two Destination D.C. events and chat for a half-hour with New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
Gray’s last public visit to New York was in February when he led a delegation of city leaders to urge bond ratings agencies to up the city’s rating.
