Trump: Madonna is ‘disgusting’

President Trump fired back at Madonna after the singer said she had “thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House” during the Women’s March on Washington.

“Honestly, she’s disgusting,” Trump told Sean Hannity in an interview that aired Thursday on Fox News.

“I think she hurt herself very badly. I think she hurt that whole cause. … I thought what she said was disgraceful to our country.”

Madonna addressed hundreds of thousands of rallygoers last Saturday in Washington.

“Yes, I’m angry. Yes, I am outraged. Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House,” she said. “But I know that this won’t change anything. We cannot fall into despair.”

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said she “ought to be arrested” for her remarks.

She later claimed her speech was “taken wildly out of context.”
